India Trounce Australia, Sourav takes the bow
The just concluded Nagpur test will be remembered for two things. First, the way India trounced Australia to take the series 2-0, and for being Dada, Maharaj Sourav Ganguly’s last test match. Sourav showed his class even in his last test match with 85 runs in the first innings to his credit. This series will also be remembered for being Anil Kumble’s last. The fab four of Sourav, Sachin, Dravid and Laxman dominated India middle order for a long time. Sourav dogged by several controverises most of them related to the repeated dropping of this class batsman has finally said goodbye on his own terms. We love Dada and wish for a successful and wonderful life with wife Dona and daughter Sana.
And also Anil Kumble who has been a almost unsung hero in India. He is the only Indian to have take 600 wickets and we still do not give him full credit for the many victories this gentleman cricketer has given us. All the best to him and his family too.
